Puzzle Panels Terms of Use

Effective October 27, 2026 · Published by Caratozzolo Development LLC

These terms cover your use of Puzzle Panels, the puzzle collection app from Caratozzolo Development LLC ("we", "us"). By installing or using the app, you agree to them. Puzzle Panels has no accounts, so our studio-wide Terms of Service, which cover accounts, do not apply to it. How the app handles information is in the privacy policy.

Your license

We give you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to install and use Puzzle Panels on devices you own or control, for your own non-commercial use. The app is licensed, not sold. On iOS, Apple's Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement also applies; where it conflicts with these terms about the license itself, it controls.

You agree not to:

Who can use it

Puzzle Panels is a general-audience game and is not directed at children under 13. You must be old enough to agree to these terms where you live, or have a parent or guardian agree for you. The app needs no account, email address, or other sign-up.

Ads

The free app occasionally shows a full-screen ad after a finished puzzle. Google serves these ads. We do not control their content, and we are not responsible for the products or sites they promote. The privacy policy explains what the ad service collects and your choices.

The No Ads purchase

Puzzle Panels offers one optional purchase: No Ads. It is a one-time payment, not a subscription, so nothing renews and nothing is charged again. It removes the ads from the app. It does not add or unlock any puzzles, because every puzzle is already free.

Your progress

Your progress, settings, and stats live on your device only. Uninstalling the app, clearing its storage, or losing the device can erase them, and we cannot recover them because we never receive them. Backups made by Apple or Google are under their terms.

What belongs to whom

We own the app, including its puzzle generators, artwork, sounds, and design, and these terms give you no ownership of any of it. Some parts come from others under their own licenses, including the word lists in Word Ladder; their notices are in the app under Settings, About.

Updates, changes, and availability

We may update the app, change or remove puzzles, or stop offering it. Updates can arrive over the air or through the store, and some may be needed to keep the app working. We work to keep the app running, but we do not promise that it will always be available, error-free, or keep any particular feature.

The app is provided as is

To the extent the law allows, we provide Puzzle Panels "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose. Some places do not allow these limits on warranties, so they may not apply to you.

Limits on our liability

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost data, progress, profits, or goodwill. Our total liability for any claim about the app is limited to the greater of what you paid us for it in the 12 months before the claim, or 50 US dollars. These limits do not remove any right the law gives you that cannot be waived.

Apple and Google

These terms are between you and us, not Apple or Google. Apple and Google have no duty to provide support or maintenance for the app. Apple is a third-party beneficiary of the Apple Standard EULA and may enforce it against you. For support, email us at the address below.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New Jersey, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Disputes will be heard in the state or federal courts located in New Jersey, unless the law where you live gives you the right to bring them there.

Changes to these terms

If these terms change, the update will be posted on this page with a revised effective date. Using the app after a change means you accept the new terms.
