Terms of Service
These terms cover your Caratozzolo Development account and the software from Caratozzolo Development LLC ("we", "us") that uses it: apps, games, dashboards, developer tools, and the services behind them (together, our "products"). By creating an account or using one of our products, you agree to them. A product can add its own rules; for Deckhand, those are the Deckhand House Rules. Where a product's rules and these terms differ, the product's rules apply to that product.
Who can have an account
You must be at least 13 years old, and old enough to agree to these terms where you live. One account per person. The information you give us, such as your email address, must be yours and accurate.
Keeping your account secure
You are responsible for what happens under your account. Keep your password to yourself, and turn on two-factor authentication at profiles.caratozzolo.dev/myaccount if you want the extra protection. If you think someone else has used your account, change your password and email support@caratozzolo.dev.
What is not allowed
- Usernames or other content that are slurs, hate speech, harassment, or sexual content.
- Pretending to be someone else, or using someone else's account.
- Breaking into, overloading, scraping, or getting around the security of our products, or helping someone else do it.
- Using our products for anything illegal.
Your content
What you enter, such as a username, stays yours. You let us store it and show it where the product shows it, for as long as you keep it. We may remove content that breaks these terms.
Purchases
Purchases inside an app are bought from the App Store or Google Play and follow that store's terms, including refunds. Each product's own rules describe what a purchase includes.
Ending your account
You can delete your account at any time at profiles.caratozzolo.dev/myaccount or inside an app; the Privacy Policy explains what that removes. We may suspend or delete an account that breaks these terms, and we may stop offering a product. Being suspended or deleted is not a refund; refunds come from the store you bought from.
Our products are provided as is
We work to keep our products running, but we provide them "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, to the extent the law allows. We do not promise that they will always be available, free of errors, or keep any particular feature.
Limits on our liability
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost data, profits, or goodwill. Our total liability for any claim about our products is limited to the greater of what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, or 50 US dollars. Some places do not allow these limits, so they may not apply to you.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New Jersey, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Disputes will be heard in the state or federal courts located in New Jersey, unless the law where you live gives you the right to bring them there.
Changes to these terms
If these terms change, the update will be posted on this page with a revised effective date. If a change matters to your account, we will tell you in the product or by email before it takes effect. Using your account after that means you accept the new terms.
