Play nice
Deckhand is a card table for friends. The name you write on your place card is seen by everyone at your table, so pick one you would say out loud in the room.
What is not allowed
Names that are slurs, hate speech, harassment of another player, or sexual content. The app blocks the obvious ones; the host handles the rest.
Hosts run the table
The host can remove any player from the lobby, and a removed player cannot rejoin that room.
Report abuse
Menu → About → Report a player opens an email to support@caratozzolo.dev with the room code filled in. We read every one.
No accounts
Deckhand has no sign-up, so there is nothing to ban but the door: we may refuse service to anyone who breaks these rules, and we may change the rules. The effective date above moves when we do.
Purchases
Captain's Table is a one-time purchase that removes the post-game advertisements and unlocks every cosmetic, including ones added later. You buy it from the App Store or Google Play, and it belongs to the store account you bought it with, not to a device. The stores set the price, so it differs by country.
Refunds come from the store you bought from, under its terms; we cannot issue one. A refunded purchase loses the ad-free play and the cosmetics it unlocked. Being refused service under these rules is not a refund.
Cosmetics can also be unlocked for free by watching a rewarded advertisement.
